2023 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year Announced
We are thrilled to reveal the outstanding winners of the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year awards for the U14, U16, and U18F categories. These accomplished athletes have demonstrated remarkable skills, determination, and commitment throughout the seaspn, making them deserving recipients of this recognition.
In the U14 category, we applaud Carson McIntyre for his exceptional offensive performance. McIntyre's remarkable abilities on the field have not gone unnoticed, and his dedication to the game has truly set him apart. On the defensive end, August Westphal has earned the title of Defensive Player of the Year. Westphal's unwavering tenacity and defensive prowess have made a significant impact on the team's success.
Moving on to the U16 division, Diego Arseneault has been named Offensive Player of the Year. Arsenault's outstanding offensive skills, strategic thinking, and ability to lead the team have made him a force to be reckoned with. On the defensive side, Jack Martin has been honored as Defensive Player of the Year. Martin's strong defensive presence, agility, and ability to read the game have undoubtedly contributed to his team's achievements.
In the U18F category, Abby Keyes has been recognized as Offensive Player of the Year. Keyes' exceptional offensive performance, leadership, and determination have not only inspired her teammates but also propelled her team to success. Emma Bradley has been named Defensive Player of the Year for her exceptional defensive skills, dedication, and ability to consistently make crucial plays on the field.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce Quintin Marsh as the FMFA Young Official of the Year. Marsh's commitment to upholding fairness, accuracy, and integrity in officiating has not gone unnoticed. Chris Wall presented and accepted the award on behalf of Marsh, highlighting the significance of this achievement.
